حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَاعِدٍ ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَكِيمِ الأَوْدِيُّ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الأَسَدِيُّ ، ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ صُبَيْحٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : " أَذَّنَ بِلالٌ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُعِيدَ ، فَرَقَى بِلالٌ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : لَيْتَ بِلالا ثَكِلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ ، وَابْتَلَّ مِنْ نَضْحِ دَمِ جَبِينِهِ يُرَدِّدُهَا حَتَّى صَعِدَ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : أَلا إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ نَامَ مَرَّتَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ حِينَ أَضَاءَ الْفَجْرُ " . مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الأَسَدِيُّ ضَعِيفٌ جِدًّا.
Hasan al-Basri narrates this statement from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): Once, Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) gave the adhan, so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to repeat it. Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) climbed the minaret and was saying: "If only Bilal's mother would weep for him." And his forehead became covered with sweat. While repeating this phrase, he climbed the minaret and said: "Beware! The servant had fallen asleep." He repeated this sentence twice, then when true dawn appeared, he gave the adhan. The narrator of this narration, Muhammad bin Qasim Asadi, is extremely weak.
