حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ ، ثنا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، أَنَّ بِلالا أَذَّنَ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَنَسًا ، وَالْمُرْسَلُ أَصَحُّ.
Qatadah narrates: On one occasion, Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) gave the call to prayer (adhan). In its chain of narration, there is no mention of Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him). Its being mursal is correct.
