حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ كَرَامَةَ ، ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، ثنا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : " مِنَ السُّنَّةِ إِذَا قَالَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ فِي أَذَانِ الْفَجْرِ : حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلاحِ ، قَالَ : الصَّلاةُ خَيْرٌ مِنَ النَّوْمِ ، الصَّلاةُ خَيْرٌ مِنَ النَّوْمِ مَرَّتَيْنِ ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Sunnah is that when the muezzin gives the adhan for Fajr, after "Hayya 'ala al-falah" he should say "As-salatu khayrun min an-nawm" twice, and then say "Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar, la ilaha illallah."
