Hadith 930

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو طَالِبِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْجَهْمِ ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْقَنْطَرِيُّ ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ أَذَّنَ اثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ ، وَكُتِبَ لَهُ بِتَأْذِينِهِ فِي كُلِّ مَرَّةٍ سِتُّونَ حَسَنَةً ، وَبِإِقَامَتِهِ ثَلاثُونَ حَسَنَةً " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever gives the call to prayer (adhan) for twelve years, Paradise will become obligatory for him, and due to his giving the adhan, for every adhan sixty good deeds will be written for him, and for every iqamah thirty good deeds will be written for him."
