وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، ثنا الرَّبِيعُ ، ثنا الشَّافِعِيُّ ، قَالَ : وَأَدْرَكْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ يُؤَذِّنُ كَمَا حَكَى ابْنُ مُحَيْرِيزٍ ، وَسَمِعْتُهُ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مُحَيْرِيزٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، بِمَعْنَى مَا حَكَى ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ وَسَمِعْتُهُ يُقِيمُ ، فَيَقُولُ : " اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ ، أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ، حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلاةِ ، حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلاحِ ، قَدْ قَامَتِ الصَّلاةُ ، قَدْ قَامَتِ الصَّلاةُ ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ ، لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ " . وَأَحْسَبُهُ يَحْكِي الإِقَامَةَ خَبَرًا كَمَا يَحْكِي الأَذَانَ.
Rabi’ reports: Imam Shafi’i has informed this: I met Ibrahim bin Abdul Aziz. He gave the call to prayer (adhan) in the same manner as Ibn Muhairiz has described. I heard him narrate, from his father, from Ibn Muhairiz, from Sayyiduna Abu Mahdhurah (may Allah be pleased with him), regarding the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), a narration of the same meaning as that which Ibn Jurayj has reported. I heard him recite the iqamah, the words of which are as follows: I believe he narrated this iqamah in the same way as he narrated the incident of the adhan.
