بَابُ تَحْرِيمِ دِمَائِهِمْ وَأَمْوَالِهِمْ إِذَا يَشْهَدُوا بِالشَّهَادَتَيْنِ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَChapter on the sanctity of their blood and wealth if they testify to the two testimonies, establish prayer, and give zakat

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الدَّقَّاقُ ، ثنا حَنْبَلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، نا عَفَّانُ ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ كَثِيرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ، وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلاةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ ، ثُمَّ قَدْ حُرِّمَ عَلَيَّ دِمَاؤُهُمْ وَأَمْوَالُهُمْ ، وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " . وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الرَّازِيُّ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ . وَكَذَلِكَ قَالَ عِمْرَانُ الْقَطَّانُ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، نَحْوَهُ.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been commanded to fight the people until they testify that there is no deity except Allah, and that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah, and they establish prayer and give zakat. Then their blood and wealth become forbidden for me, except by right. Their reckoning is with Allah." This narration is also transmitted with another chain from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and with another chain from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) from Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the same manner.
