قُرِئَ عَلَى أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ ، حَدَّثَكُمْ دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، عَنْ قُرَّةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كُلُّ أَمْرٍ ذِي بَالٍ لا يُبْدَأُ فِيهِ بِحَمْدِ اللَّهِ أَقْطَعُ " . تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ قُرَّةُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، وَأَرْسَلَهُ غَيْرُهُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَقُرَّةُ لَيْسَ بِقَوِيٍّ فِي الْحَدِيثِ . وَرَوَاهُ صَدَقَةُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ . وَلا يَصِحُّ الْحَدِيثُ ، وَصَدَقَةُ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ضَعِيفَانِ ، وَالْمُرْسَلُ هُوَ الصَّوَابُ.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every significant matter which does not begin with the praise of Allah is incomplete." In narrating this report from Zuhri, the narrator named Qarah is unique. The narrators state: Other narrators have reported it from Zuhri as a mursal narration, and the narrator named Qarah is not reliable in this hadith. Other narrators have transmitted this narration from ‘Abdur Rahman bin Ka‘b from his father from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and this narration is not authentic. Both Sadaqah and Muhammad bin Sa‘id, the narrators, are weak, and the correct version of this narration is that it is transmitted as mursal.
