Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Fatimah bint Qais asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the issue of a woman experiencing istihada (non-menstrual bleeding), as to what she should do. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "She should count the specific days of her menstruation. Then, when she becomes pure, she should perform ghusl (ritual bath) and offer prayer." In narrating this report, the narrator named Ja'far bin Sulayman is unique. The narration that Ibn Jurayj has transmitted from Abu Zubair is not correct. The narrator made a mistake in it, because the name of that woman was Fatimah bint Abu Hubaysh.
