Hadith 840

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ ، قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ أَبِي حُبَيْشٍ لَمْ تُصَلِّ مُنْذُ كَذَا وَكَذَا ، قَالَ : " سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ إِنَّمَا ذَلِكَ عِرْقٌ ، فَذَكَرَ كَلِمَةً بَعْدَهَا أَيَّامُ أَقْرَائِهَا ، ثُمَّ تَغْتَسِلُ وَتُصَلِّي وَتُؤَخِّرُ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ وَتُعَجِّلُ مِنَ الْعَصْرِ وَتَغْتَسِلُ لَهُمَا غُسْلا وَاحِدًا ، وَتُؤَخِّرُ مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَتُعَجِّلُ مِنَ الْعِشَاءِ وَتَغْتَسِلُ لَهُمَا غُسْلا وَتُصَلِّي " .
Lady Asma bint Umais (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Fatimah bint Abi Hubaysh has not performed prayer for such a long time." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Subhan Allah! This is blood from another vein." Then after that, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke about the days of menstruation. Then he said, "She should delay Zuhr, hasten Asr, then perform ghusl and pray both together. She should delay Maghrib, hasten Isha, and perform ghusl once and pray both together."
