It is narrated about Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): She was asked about a woman experiencing istihada (non-menstrual bleeding), so she said: "She should not abandon prayer, even if drops of blood are falling onto the mat." The narrator Waki‘ has transmitted this as a marfu‘ (attributed to the Prophet) hadith. The narrators ‘Ali ibn Hashim and Hafs have transmitted it as a mawquf (attributed to a Companion) narration.
