حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نا أَبُو إِبْرَاهِيمَ الزُّهْرِيُّ ، ثنا النُّفَيْلِيُّ ، قَالَ : قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَعْقِلِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ ، قَالَ : " أَدْنَى وَقْتِ الْحَيْضِ يَوْمٌ " . وَقَالَ أَبُو إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِلَى هَذَيْنِ الْحَدِيثَيْنِ : كَانَ يَذْهَبُ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ وَكَانَ يَحْتَجُّ بِهِمَا.
Ata bin Abi Rabah narrates: "The minimum duration of menstruation is one day." Abu Ibrahim narrates: Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal has adopted both these narrations and has presented them as evidence.
