Sulaiman bin Yasar reports: Sayyida Fatimah bint Abi Hubaysh (may Allah be pleased with her) suffered from istihada (non-menstrual bleeding), so she asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The narrator is unsure whether the words are: "The issue was asked to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) on her behalf." So the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) instructed: "She should leave the prayer during her specific days of menstruation, and apart from that, she should perform ghusl and, after tying a cloth, perform the prayer." Sulaiman, the narrator, was asked: "Did her husband have intercourse with her?" He replied: "We narrate only what we have heard."
