حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَاعِدٍ ، نا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، وَيَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالا : نا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، نا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نا ابْنُ كَرَامَةَ ، نا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، وَقَالَ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنِي أبِي ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : جَاءَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ أَبِي حُبَيْشٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ أُسْتَحَاضُ فَلا أَطْهُرُ أَفَأَدَعُ الصَّلاةَ ؟ قَالَ : " لا إِنَّمَا ذَلِكَ عِرْقٌ وَلَيْسَ بِالْحَيْضِ ، فَإِذَا أَقْبَلَتْ حَيْضَتُكِ فَدَعِي الصَّلاةَ فَإِذَا أَدْبَرَتْ فَاغْسِلِي وَصَلِّي " . وَقَالَ يَحْيَى : " وَإِذَا أَدْبَرَتْ فَاغْسِلِي عَنْكِ الدَّمَ وَصَلِّي " ، زَادَ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ : قَالَ هِشَامٌ ، قَالَ أَبِي : ثُمَّ تَوَضَّئِي لِكُلِّ صَلاةٍ حَتَّى يَجِيءَ ذَلِكَ الْوَقْتُ.
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Fatimah bint Abi Hubaysh came to the service of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I am a woman who suffers from istihada (non-menstrual bleeding). I do not become pure, should I stop praying?" He said: "No, this is blood from a vein, it is not menstruation. When menstruation comes, stop praying. When it ends, perform ghusl and start offering prayers." The narrator named Yahya has transmitted this: "When it departs, wash the blood from your body and offer prayer." In one narration, these words are added: Hisham narrates: My father has narrated this: "Then perform ablution for every prayer until that time comes."
