حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عِيسَى ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ خُزَيْمَةَ النَّيْسَابُورِيَّ ، يَقُولُ : ذَكَرْتُ لِلْمُزَنِيِّ خَبَرَ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ هَذَا ، فَقَالَ لِي : حَدَّثَ بِهِ أَصْحَابُنَا فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لِلشَّافِعِيِّ حُجَّةٌ أَقْوَى مِنْ هَذَا ، يَعْنِي قَوْلَهُ " إِذَا نَحْنُ أَدْخَلْنَاهُمَا عَلَى طُهْرٍ ".
Ali bin Ibrahim narrates that I heard Shaykh Abu Bakr bin Khuzaymah saying: "I mentioned the narration of 'Abdur Razzaq to Imam Muzani, so he said to me: Our companions have also narrated this, because Imam Shafi'i has no more authentic evidence than this." The author says: That is, the words of the narration: "When we have inserted them into them while in a state of ablution."
