بَابٌ فِي مَاءِ الْبَحْرِChapter on Sea Water
Hadith 75

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُبَشِّرٍ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَبَانَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَاءِ الْبَحْرِ ، قَالَ : " الْحَلالُ مَيْتَتُهُ ، الطَّهُورُ مَاؤُهُ " . أَبَانُ بْنُ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the water of the sea: "Its dead (animals) are lawful and its water is pure."
