Nafi' reports: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to perform tayammum at the place of Marbad al-Na'am, which is at a distance of three miles from Madinah Munawwarah. After that (he would perform the prayer and then) when he entered Madinah Munawwarah, the sun would be fully risen, but he would not repeat the prayer.
