Zaid bin Aslam narrates from his father: Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) performed ablution from a Christian’s house, then he went to that woman. He said: “O old lady! Accept Islam, you will be safe. Allah Almighty has sent Muhammad (peace be upon him) with the truth.” That woman removed her veil from her head (and her hair was as white as the flower of the thaghama). The old woman said: Now I am about to die. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “O Allah! Be a witness.”
