Abu Sa'id and Yahya bin Abdur Rahman narrate: Once, Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by a cistern. Sayyiduna Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: "O owner of the cistern! Do wild animals also come to drink water from your cistern?" So Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O owner of the cistern! Do not inform us about this (because for such a cistern), sometimes we come after the wild animals and sometimes they come after us."
