حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ بْنِ جَوَّانٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبَانَ ، نا جَعْفَرٌ الأَحْمَرُ ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ الزِّمَّانِيِّ ، بِهَذَا أَنَّهُ رَعَفَ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَحْدِثْ لَهُ وُضُوءًا " . عَمْرٌو الْقُرَشِيُّ . هَذَا هُوَ عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ مَتْرُوكُ الْحَدِيثِ ، قَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ : أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ كَذَّابٌ.
The same narration is transmitted with another chain, in which these words are present: "His nose started bleeding, so the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: Perform ablution again because of it." The narrator of this narration is Amr Qureshi, Amr bin Khalid, Abu Khalid Wasiti, who is abandoned in hadith. Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal and Yahya bin Ma'in have stated this: "Abu Khalid Wasiti is a liar."
