Hadith 573

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْفَارِسِيُّ ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الدَّقَّاقُ ، قَالا : نا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ، نا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ ، أنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ وَجَدَ رُعَافًا أَوْ قَيْئًا أَوْ مَذْيًا أَوْ قَلْسًا فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ ، ثُمَّ لِيُتِمَّ عَلَى مَا مَضَى مَا بَقِيَ ، وَهُوَ مَعَ ذَلِكَ يَتَّقِيَ أَنْ يَتَكَلَّمَ " .
Ibn Jurayj, on the authority of his father, narrates the statement of the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him): "If a person suffers from a nosebleed, vomits, or has a sour belch, then he should perform ablution and complete the remainder of the prayer that has passed, and with that, he should refrain from speaking to anyone."
