Qais bin Talq narrates from his father, Sayyiduna Talq bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): We set out as a delegation to present ourselves before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When we arrived in his presence, we pledged allegiance on his hand and performed prayer behind him. A man came, he appeared to be a Bedouin, and he said: "O Messenger of Allah! What is your opinion about a man touching his private part during prayer?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is a part of your body." (The narrator is in doubt, perhaps these are the words:) "A piece of flesh."
