Lady Busrah bint Safwan (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever touches his private part, or touches his testicles, or touches his foul place, then he should perform ablution.” This narration is also transmitted with some other chains, however, the mention of the testicles and the foul place is a mistake by the narrator, because this is not mentioned in the narration transmitted from Lady Busrah (may Allah be pleased with her). The more reliable version is: This is the statement of ‘Urwah and is transmitted as a marfu‘ hadith, and trustworthy narrators have transmitted it in this way.
