Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform ablution, and after performing ablution, he would kiss (his wife), and then he would offer prayer and would not perform ablution again. The narrator named Waki’ has stated this: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would kiss one of his noble wives and then would offer prayer and would not perform ablution again. The narrator named Ibn Mahdi has stated this: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would kiss her (his wife) and would not perform ablution again. The narrator named Abu Asim has stated this: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would kiss (his wife) and then would offer prayer and would not perform ablution again. This narration is also transmitted with some other chains, however, there is some difference found in its chain. In one narration, these words are present: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would kiss while in the state of fasting. In one narration, these words are present: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would kiss and would not perform ablution again, and Allah knows best!
