بَابُ الْأَكْلِ مِنْ آنِيَةِ الْمُشْرِكِينَChapter on eating from the vessels of polytheists
Hadith 4808

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نَا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ الرَّازِيُّ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، نَا مَعْقِلٌ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْمُسْلِمُ يَكْفِيهِ اسْمُهُ فَإِنْ نَسِيَ أَنْ يُسَمِّيَ حِينَ يَذْبَحُ ، فَلْيُسَمِّ وَلْيَذْكُرِ اسْمَ اللَّهِ ، ثُمَّ لْيَأْكُلْ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) says: The name of a Muslim is sufficient for him; if he forgets to say Bismillah, then he should say Bismillah, take the name of Allah, and eat it.
