Hadith 4802

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبَزَّازُ ، نَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَرَفَةَ ، نَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا رَمَيْتَ بِسَهْمِكَ فَغَابَ عَنْكَ ثَلاثًا فَأَدْرَكْتَهُ ، فَكُلْهُ مَا لَمْ يُنْتِنْ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Tha'labah al-Khushani, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "When you shoot your arrow and the game remains hidden from you for three days, then you reach it, eat it, as long as it has not become putrid."
