Hadith 4739

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبَزَّارُ ، نَا طَاهِرُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ بَزَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ " فِي الْجَنِينِ : ذَكَاتُهُ ذَكَاةُ أُمِّهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "As for the offspring present in the belly of an animal, slaughtering its mother will be considered as slaughtering it."
