Hadith 4733

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ ، نَا ابْنُ يَاسِينَ ، نَا بُنْدَارٌ ، نَا يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانُ ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْوَدَّاكِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، سُئِلَ " عَنِ الْجَنِينِ يَخْرُجُ مَيِّتًا ، قَالَ : إِنْ شِئْتُمْ فَكُلُوهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the offspring found in the belly of an animal, which comes out dead. He (peace be upon him) said: "If you wish, you may eat it."
