Hadith 4731

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَصْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَمْدَوَيْهِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ طَاهِرٍ ، قَالا : نَا مَعْمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَعْمَرٍ الْبَلْخِيُّ ، نَا عِصَامُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، نَا مُبَارَكُ بْنُ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ " فِي الْجَنِينِ ذَكَاتُهُ ذَكَاةُ أُمِّهِ أَشْعَرَ ، أَوْ لَمْ يُشْعِرْ " ، قَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ : وَلَكِنَّهُ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ يُؤْمَرُ بِذَبْحِهِ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ الدَّمُ مِنْ جَوْفِهِ.
Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Slaughtering the mother of an animal that has a fetus in its womb will be considered as slaughtering the fetus as well, whether its hair has appeared or not." The narrator named Ubaidullah stated this: But if it comes out of the mother's womb, then it should be slaughtered, so that blood flows from its belly as well.
