Hadith 4720

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الْكَوْكَبِيُّ ، نَا خَالِدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الصَّدَفِيُّ ، نَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ شُرَيْحٍ ، وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى ذَبَحَ مَا فِي الْبَحْرِ لِبَنِي آدَمَ " .
Sayyiduna Shurayh (may Allah be pleased with him), who is a companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty has made everything in the sea lawful for the children of Adam to slaughter."
