بَابُ الْمَاءِ الْمُتَغَيِّرِChanged Water

حَدَّثَنَا دَعْلَجُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الأَبَّارُ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْغُضَيْضِيُّ ، نا رِشْدِينُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ أَبُو الْحَجَّاجِ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لا يُنَجِّسُ الْمَاءَ شَيْءٌ إِلا مَا غَيَّرَ رِيحَهُ أَوْ طَعْمَهُ " . لَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ غَيْرُ رِشْدِينَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ، وَلَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ ، وَالصَّوَابُ فِي قَوْلِ رَاشِدٍ.
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Nothing makes water impure except that which changes its smell and taste." This narration has been transmitted as "marfu‘" only from Rushdin bin Sa‘d, and this narrator is not reliable; the correct view is that it is transmitted as the statement of Rashid bin Sa‘d.
