حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ الصَّنْدَلِيُّ ، نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، نَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَن النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أُتِيَ بِرَجُلٍ قَدْ سَكِرَ مِنْ نَبِيذِ تَمْرٍ ، فَجَلَدَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates about the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): A man was brought (to him) who had become intoxicated due to drinking date-palm nabidh, so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had him flogged.
