Sayyiduna Abu Mas’ud Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) felt thirsty while he was performing Tawaf of the Ka’bah. A waterskin of nabidh was brought to him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not accept it. A man said to him: “O Messenger of Allah! Is it forbidden?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: “No! But bring me a bucket of Zamzam.” Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mixed that water with it and drank it, and then continued performing Tawaf.
