حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ، أنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ ، وَابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، " أَنَّهُ جَلَدَ رَجُلا وَجَدَ مِنْهُ رِيحَ شَرَابٍ ، الْحَدَّ تَامًّا " .
It is narrated about Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, that he administered the full punishment of lashes to a person as a hadd because the smell of alcohol was found from his mouth.
