وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ زَكَرِيَّا ، أنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ ، يَرْفَعُ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الأَشْرِبَةُ مِنْ خَمْسٍ مِنَ الْحِنْطَةِ وَالشَّعِيرِ ، وَالتَّمْرِ ، وَالزَّبِيبِ ، وَالْعَسَلِ ، وَمَا خُمِّرَ بِهِ فَهُوَ خَمْرٌ " .
Sayyiduna Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports as a marfu’ hadith that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Khamr (intoxicant) is made from five things: wheat, barley, dates, raisins, and honey. And every thing that covers the intellect is khamr.”
