Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I heard Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) saying this from the pulpit of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "When the command of the prohibition of wine was revealed, it was being made from five things: grapes, wheat, barley, dates, and honey."
