بَابُ الْمَاءِ الْمُتَغَيِّرِChanged Water

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الصَّوَّافِ ، نا حَامِدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ، نا سُرَيْجٌ ، نا أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْمُؤَدِّبُ ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنِ الأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا يُنَجِّسُ الْمَاءَ إِلا مَا غَيَّرَ طَعْمَهُ أَوْ رِيحَهُ " . لَمْ يُجَاوِزْ بِهِ رَاشِدًا ، وَأَسْنَدَهُ الْغُضَيْضِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ.
Sayyiduna Rashid bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Nothing makes water impure, except that which changes its taste or smell.” This narration is transmitted up to Rashid bin Sa’d, however, ‘Udhayzi has narrated this hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him).
