نَا نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَكِيلُ ، نَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الأَسْوَدِ ، نَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الرَّازِيُّ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ يَحْيَى ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّهُ فَدَى يَمِينَهُ بِعَشَرَةِ آلافِ دِرْهَمٍ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " وَرَبِّ هَذَا الْمَسْجِدِ وَرَبِّ هَذَا الْقَبْرِ ، لَوْ حَلَفْتُ لَحَلَفْتُ صَادِقًا ، وَذَلِكَ أَنَّهُ شَيْءٌ افْتَدَيْتُ بِهِ يَمِينِي " .
Muhammad bin Jubair narrates from his father that he paid ten thousand dirhams as expiation for his oath, and then he said: By the Lord of this mosque! And by the Lord of this grave! If I had sworn an oath, I would have been truthful in swearing, but this is such a matter that I have given expiation for my oath.
