نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى ، نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الأَزْهَرِ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، نَا أَبُو قُرَّةَ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيْسَ لِقَاتِلٍ شَيْءٌ " ،.
Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The killer gets nothing (i.e., he does not get anything from the inheritance)." A similar narration is reported from other individuals as well.
