نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، نَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ ، نَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ . ح وَنا دَعْلَجُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، نَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ ، نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ الْخَبَائِرِيُّ ، نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ بَاعَ سِلْعَةً فَأَدْرَكَ سِلْعَتَهُ بِعَيْنِهَا عِنْدَ رَجُلٍ قَدْ أَفْلَسَ ، وَلَمْ يَقْتَضِ مِنْ ثَمَنِهَا شَيْئًا فَهِيَ لَهُ ، وَإِنْ كَانَ قَضَى مِنْ ثَمَنِهَا شَيْئًا فَمَا بَقِيَ فَهُوَ أُسْوَةُ الْغُرَمَاءِ " ، وَاللَّفْظُ لِدَعْلَجٍ.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If a seller finds his goods with a person who has been declared insolvent, and the seller has not received any part of the price from that person, then the goods will be returned to the seller. But if the buyer has paid some part of the price for those goods, then for the remaining amount, the seller will be considered like the other creditors."
