نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الشَّافِعِيُّ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَسَدِيُّ ، نَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ، نَا الْيَمَانُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ، نَا الزُّبَيْدِيُّ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أَفْلَسَ ، وَعِنْدَهُ مَالُ امْرِئٍ بِعَيْنِهِ لَمْ يَقْتَضِ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا ، فَهُوَ أُسْوَةُ الْغُرَمَاءِ ، وَأَيُّمَا امْرِئٍ مَاتَ ، وَعِنْدَهُ مَالُ امْرِئٍ بِعَيْنِهِ اقْتَضَى مِنْهُ ، أَوْ لَمْ يَقْتَضِ ، فَهُوَ أُسْوَةُ الْغُرَمَاءِ " ، خَالَفَهُ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ ، وَمُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ . وَالْيَمَانُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ، وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، ضَعِيفَانِ.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If a person is declared bankrupt and he has someone else's property in his possession, and he has not received any payment for that property, then he will recover it along with the other creditors. And if a person dies and he has someone else's property in his possession, whether he has received any payment for it or not, he will be considered like the other creditors in this matter."
