نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي الثَّلْجِ ، نَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، نَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، نَا دَهْثَمُ بْنُ قُرَّانٍ ، عَنْ نِمْرَانَ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ قَوْمًا اخْتَصَمُوا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي خُصٍّ كَانَ بَيْنَهُمْ ، فَبَعَثَ حُذَيْفَةَ يَقْضِي بَيْنَهُمْ ، فَقَضَى لِلَّذِينَ يَلِيهِمُ الْقِمْطُ ، فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَهُ ، فَقَالَ : " أَصَبْتَ " ، أَوْ " أَحْسَنْتَ " . لَمْ يَرْوِهِ غَيْرُ دَهْثَمِ بْنِ قُرَّانٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ وَقَدِ اخْتُلِفَ فِي إِسْنَادِهِ.
Numran Harithah narrates that his father stated that some people brought a case regarding a house, which was shared among them, to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). So the Prophet (peace be upon him) sent Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) to judge between them. Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) ruled in favor of the one whose ropes were tied in his portion. When he came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and related the incident, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "You have judged correctly." The narrator is uncertain whether these were the words (that you have judged well).
