حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الصَّائِغُ ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، وَأَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَنَامَ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلاةِ ، وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَطْعَمَ غَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ أَكَلَ " . صَحِيحٌ.
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) intended to sleep in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah), he would perform ablution (wudu) as he did for prayer, and if he intended to eat something in the state of janabah, he would wash both his hands and then eat that thing. This narration is authentic.
