حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ حُصَيْنِ الْجُبَيْلِيُّ ، نَا عَمْرُو بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الشَّرِيدِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّهُ " بَاعَ مِنْ رَجُلٍ نَصِيبًا لَهُ مِنْ دَارٍ لَهُ فِيهَا شَرِيكٌ ، فَقَالَ شَرِيكُهُ : أَنَا أَحَقُّ بِالْبَيْعِ مِنْ غَيْرِي ، فَرُفِعَ ذَلِكَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : الْجَارُ أَحَقُّ بِسَقَبِهِ " .
Amr bin Shuraid narrates from his father that he sold another part of his house, and there was another partner with him in it. So that partner said to him: Compared to anyone else, I have more right to buy it. When this matter was presented before the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), he said: "The neighbor has more right to the adjacent property (to buy it)."
