نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ ، نَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، نَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، نَا أَبُو حَنِيفَةَ ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ شُرَيْحٍ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْبَيِّنَةُ عَلَى الْمُدَّعِي ، وَالْيَمِينُ عَلَى الْمُدَّعَى عَلَيْهِ " .
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The burden of proof is upon the claimant, and the one against whom the claim is made is required only to take an oath."
