نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ أَخُو خَطَّابٍ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَهْمٍ ، نَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ تَطَبَّبَ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ بِالطِّبِّ مَعْرُوفًا ، فَأَصَابَ نَفْسًا فَمَا دُونَهَا فَهُوَ ضَامِنٌ " .
Amr bin Shu'aib narrates from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever practices medicine without having knowledge of it, and as a result of his treatment someone is harmed, then he must pay compensation."
