Hadith 4492

نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمَالِكِيُّ ، نَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، نَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، نَا أَبُو الأَشْهَبِ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مِنْ دُعِيَ إِلَى حَاكِمٍ مِنْ حُكَّامِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَلَمْ يُجِبْ فَهُوَ ظَالِمٌ لا حَقَّ لَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is summoned to the court of a Muslim (judge) and does not go there, then that person will be considered a wrongdoer, and he will have no right."
