حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، نَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي عُقْبَةُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، قَالَ : لَمْ يُحَدِّثْنِي ، وَلَكِنْ سَمِعْتُهُ يُحَدِّثُ ، قَالَ : " تَزَوَّجَتِ ابْنَةُ أَبِي إِهَابٍ فَجَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ ، فَقَالَتْ : إِنِّي قَدْ أَرْضَعْتُكُمَا ، فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنِّي ، ثُمَّ سَأَلْتُهُ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنِّي ، وَقَالَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ أَوِ الثَّالِثَةِ : كَيْفَ بِكَ وَقَدْ قِيلَ ، قَالَ : وَنَهَاهُ عَنْهَا " ، .
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I married the daughter of Abu Ihab. A black woman came and said, "I have suckled both of you (husband and wife)." (Sayyiduna Uqbah [may Allah be pleased with him] narrates:) I went to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and asked him about this matter, but he turned away from me. I asked him again, and he turned away from me again. I asked him a fourth time, or perhaps a third time, and he said, "What can be done now, when this has already been stated?" The narrator says: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade that man from having relations with that woman.
