نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ، نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُلَيَّةَ ، نَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، قَالَ : وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ عُقْبَةَ ، وَلَكِنِّي لِحَدِيثِ عُبَيْدٍ أَحْفَظُ ، قَالَ : تَزَوَّجَتِ امْرَأَةٌ فَجَاءَتْنَا امْرَأَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ ، فَقَالَتْ : إِنِّي قَدْ أَرْضَعْتُكُمَا فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقُلْتُ : " إِنِّي تَزَوَّجْتُ فُلانَةَ بِنْتَ فُلانٍ ، فَجَاءَتْنَا امْرَأَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ ، فَقَالَتْ : قَدْ أَرْضَعْتُكُمَا وَهِيَ كَاذِبَةٌ ، فَأَعْرَضَ عَنِّي فَأَتَيْتُهُ مِنْ قِبَلِ وَجْهِهِ ، فَقُلْتُ : إِنَّهَا كَاذِبَةٌ ، قَالَ : كَيْفَ وَقَدْ زَعَمَتْ أَنَّهَا أَرْضَعَتْكُمَا دَعْهَا عَنْكَ " .
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I married a woman, and a black woman came to us and said, "I have suckled both of you." (The narrator says:) I went to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "I have married the daughter of so-and-so, such-and-such a girl, and a black woman came to us and said that she has suckled both of us. That woman is lying." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) turned his face away from me. I came before him from the other side and said, "She is lying." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "What can be done now, when she has stated that she has suckled both of you? Separate this woman (i.e., your wife) from yourself."
