Abu Musa Hilali narrates from his father that once a man was traveling, and his wife gave birth to a child, but the woman’s milk did not flow. The man became concerned for the woman, so he began to suck her breast, due to which the milk reached his throat. He asked Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash’ari (may Allah be pleased with him) about this, and Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash’ari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “That woman has become forbidden to you.” Then he went to Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked him about this, and he replied that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Only that suckling establishes prohibition which produces flesh and causes the bones to grow (i.e., which occurs in infancy).”
