نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمُقْرِئُ ، نَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْهَيَّاجِ ، نَا أَبِي ، عَنْ عَنْبَسَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنِ الْعَلاءِ ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ ، عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الأَسْقَعِ ، وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالا : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيْسَ عَلَى مَقْهُورٍ يَمِينٌ " .
Sayyiduna Wathilah bin Asqa’ and Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with them) narrate that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Whoever is compelled by force, an oath is not binding upon him (that is, the expiation of the oath is not obligatory upon him).”
